Our firm is pleased to introduce a private duty, hospice, and home health agency for sale in Pennsylvania. This well-established company focuses on providing expert care so that seniors can remain safe and healthy in their homes for as long as possible. Private Duty Home Care comprises 48% of the total revenue, while hospice makes up 44%, and home health is 8%. Payers include private pay, Medicare, Medicaid, and insurance. They service a 5 county area.

The company was seeing growth in the beginning of 2020 until the pandemic hit. As a whole, they grossed $11.3 million in 2019, $12.2 million in 2020, and $10.5 million in 2021. Based on results through March 2022, they were on pace to surpass $10 million by the end of FY 2022 in June and adjusted EBITDA was tracking at approximately $800,000 (8%). However, the home health business is bringing down profitability. Without it, adjusted EBITDA was on track to be $1.3 million (13.9%). Ideally, a new owner could capitalize on the strength of their private duty and hospice operations, while restructuring and growing the home health to complement and improve the business.

All staff are expected to stay on under new ownership, and the sellers will assist during a transitional period.

The asking price for this opportunity is $9 million.
