Our firm has been retained to find a buyer for a well-established IT Services company headquartered in and active throughout the Tristate area NY-NJ-PA.
Our client’s 2020 revenues were in the $17 million range, with adjusted ebitda of $1.2 million. They project a similar performance in 2021.
The company has earned an outstanding reputation for its engineering excellence and customer service and offers complete solutions around Managed Services, Cloud, Networking, Data Center, Security, Storage, etc.
Over its history of more than 20 years, the company has successfully transformed itself from a VAR to a System Integrator and in the last 5 years to a Managed Services Provider.
A majority of their revenues are repeat, about 50% are recurring and more than 34% are derived from services. Their very robust MSP offering is expected to continue to grow both by adding new customers and by selling into their existing base of more than 400 customers.
The company has a long list of very loyal customers in the SLED (State, Local and Education) vertical, as well as mid-size commercial enterprise. They have developed strategic relationships with several leading vendors like Cisco, Dell, Microsoft, etc.
The owner is now looking to join forces with a larger player that will provide additional solutions to its customers and opportunities to its employees. He is interested in continuing with the new entity post transaction and help scale the company.
