This Amity Treaty Company (meaning that it can be 100% foreign owned) has a trademarked name in both Thailand and the USA. The company is using a unique internet concept for building a large customer base via a highly interactive internet community which eventually can develop into a search engine in its own right. Computer programmers have been approached to undertake the project, though one of the partners is very experienced in the computer industry, so the initial stage of the project is expected to be up and running in the very near future. A new partner is therefore being sought (30% of the shares are available for one investor, or two investors could acquire 15% each); although the company is based in Phuket, the new partner or partners could live anywhere in the world. It is not necessary for the successful investor or investors to be hands-on, but it would be welcomed if they wished to contribute to the day to day running of the company. It is envisaged that after six months the company would have a prominent web presence and a high profile corporate name that would lead to generation of capital through its distinct website design as well as from sales of a range of high quality goods including; tee shirts, baseball caps, polo shirts, coasters, key chains and a complete range of clothing and accessories. The aim is to attain a worldwide brand name recognition for its website with product recognition that rivals items sold by Hard Rock Café and Planet Hollywood, for example. Besides selling products online the company will strive to offer their merchandise through outlets in tourist zones.
