Within our territory there is only 1 independent pack & ship, which is not very competitive with our rates or service. Our location enjoys an average customer transaction that is over double the national average for our franchise. Essentially, the ROI this location brings requires less overhead when compared to an average location that would need to process double the clientele, along with an increase of staffing. In addition, this business fared well during the economic downturn during the Great Recession, with minimal impact in revenue.
Plenty of small businesses that could be outsourcing their shipping department to this location. There is a VERY large concentration of art galleries in our territory and we have become known as a source for their shipping needs. Our improved location has the capacity to handle large freight and pallet shipping with its rear single-car sized garage door. Bulk & large items are very profitable due to higher rates able to be charged. In addition, our mailboxes are only at 50% capacity. Opening more hours and print expansion are also large expansion opportunity.
