What is a collateralized stock loan?
A stock loan is a liquidity solution that allows a holder of publicly traded shares of stock to draw a portion of the cash value out of unrestricted stock without selling it. The shares are held by a custodian as collateral for the loan are and returned to the borrower upon repayment of the principal balance of the loan.
