The Hotel building has been a central point of Fischertratten, located in the southern most Austrian, state of Carinthia, for many centuries. Serving as a hotel since the
late 1950’s, today the Hotel is home to 17 newly renovated rooms,
a tasteful, a traditional Austrian restaurant offering authentic cuisines
as well as having an Italian wood-burning pizza oven, a bar,
wine room, ski room and remarkable hospitality service throughout.
There are also future plans to develop spa facilities with an openroof
pool, different saunas and massage services.

3 saunas (Finnish sauna, Infrared sauna, Traditional Alpine herb’s
sauna), cold water pool (4 degrees Celsius), 2 massage rooms and
ancillary rooms for the pleasure for all guests to take advantage of.

The Hotel is located in the midst of the Austrian alps in the historic
valley of Maltatal which forms part of High Tauern National Park.
The area is known for the following activities:
The best skiing conditions are just a short drive away (20-45 min min-
utes) boasting over 700km of well-maintained skiing trails such
as: Katschberg, Flachau, Obertauern, Mölltaler Gletcher to name
but a few. Many of these trails are hosting worldwide winter sport
From May until October, there are more than 300km of marked
tracks to follow and 9 alpine cottages to visit which are situated
between 1000 - 2300 meters above sea level.

Golfing season is from March to November. There are 8 golf courses
within a short drive away.
Other activities
There are a range of other activities readily accessible from our
Hotel, including mountain biking, horseback riding, mountain
climbing, ice-climbing, fishing and 20km jogging/bicycle road.
In addition to the areas and activities that are available in and
around our Hotel, there are also a number of sightseeing venues
to visit, including:
Porsche Museum - where the first 19 of the icon sports cars were
Eselpark - discover more than 100 different animals which is perfect
for kids, but also highly reco mended to adults.
