Jul 16, 2018 — Firm has created and serviced its global client base for almost two decades. Company services a particular niche in their industry that is related to marine projects. They provide services that encompass the entire project continuum within their space from conception to installation. Their client base has well‐defined project requirements and include both commercial (~20%) and government (~80%) contracts. Since a preponderence of the work is government contract related, revenue variability is correlated to government funding levels.
Firm operates out of two locations across two states: 2,100 sf and 4,600 sf. The first location is owned by
the sellers; the sale of that building is negotiable. Company can easily be moved to a new location. The ideal purchase candidate would be a company or person currently in the industry space or have the desire and capacity to enter it. Preferably, the candidate would have experience in operating a firm of
comparable size. No special certifications or licenses are required for buyers as most of the staff are
Registered Professional Engineers or equivalent and have passed government
background investigations where required.
Staffing is based on a virtual model with employees compensated for every hour worked; there is no uncompensated overtime. Currently, 38 personnel are on payroll with most of those technical staff.
The current Technical Director (an owner) is willing to support new ownership on a
negotiable basis for up to three years for training and transition of key accounts. Profits listed below are seller discretionary earnings.
