BUSINESS DESCRIPTION

Our client is a nationally accredited, Title IV nursing school established over 20 years ago. The school offers a highly regarded licensed practical nursing (LPN) program. The school has dual accreditation by COE and ABHES, both of which were received in 2018.

In January 2018 the school had approximately 290 students who attended the school’s two modern, state-of-the-art campuses. One campus is conveniently located in the heart of a major city in the Midwest while the second campus is in an affluent suburb about 20 miles away. The campuses are staffed with a skilled and dedicated team of 45 professionals including 25 instructors.

Management expects 2018 revenues to be approximately $3.2 million and adjusted EBITDA to be $650,000. The school’s revenues have shown a 4% compound annual growth rate over the last 5 years. EBITDA has grown at a compound annual growth rate of 14% over the same period.

The school’s founders would like to retire, but they are willing to work with the buyer for a reasonable transition period and as consultants on special projects afterward. Additional information is available to qualified principals upon receipt of the signed nondisclosure agreement attached.
