The Bakery & Cafe stemmed from founder and holistic nutritionist Owner’s desire to help people. Some of her close friends and many clients have celiac disease, and she made a made it her mission to create an approachable community cafe for them and others for whom eating gluten free was a necessity. Everything would be gluten free and mostly vegan, and all the food would be organic without sacrificing any flavor. And more beautiful than you could imagine.
The owner is an accomplished plant-based chef, holistic nutrition educator and Ayurvedic Specialist. Over the last 15 years, she has inspired countless others through her personal journey with food and mood.
When the lead baker joined the bakery team, she became an instant source of gluten free baking inspiration. Her goal is always to bring our customers joy in a bread, pastry or specialty cake and to give them what they dream about and miss the most. Let her know you miss a specific breakfast treat with your coffee or a loaf of bread, and she’ll take it as a personal challenge. You can be sure she’ll be in the bakery all week, working away until it’s perfect.
Now, the owner and her team deliver seasonal directed, plant based, and health supportive meals to athletes, busy professionals, change makers, medical doctors and families. At the Central Oregon bakery they believe everyone should be able to enjoy delicious food and no one should feel left out.
Their greatest reward is witnessing the joy their guests experience after they take their first bite.
