Feb 1, 2017 — Real estate has been a hot sector for venture and M&A activity, and this is week is no exception. Knock, a startup that guarantees to sell homes within six weeks, just raised a $32.5 million Series A round led by RRE Ventures. Meanwhile Zoopla, the UK-based property listings site, has acquired Hometrack, a house valuation provider, for about $150 million. Since last year, close to 200 real estate startups have together raised more than $3.6 billion globally, according to a Crunchbase Pro search.
