The program combines three days of classroom instruction—including permitting, entry-level driver training (ELDT), and simulator training—with hands-on truck practice, typically lasting from three to eight weeks, depending on the individual’s experience and progress.

FF&E includes eight commercial semi-trucks, varying in age and brands from 1999 to 2018, one belly dump, and seven trailers for training and practice purposes. All vehicles are well-maintained and are in excellent working condition.
The school’s curriculum meets and exceeds federal and state standards, utilizing proprietary in-house training materials. Financial assistance, including grants, loans, and scholarships, is available.

With a semi-remote ownership model, administrative tasks and on-site operations are managed efficiently. A key on-site employee who has led recent growth initiatives would be invaluable to a Buyer and will ensure a seamless transition and ongoing success.


Detailed Information

Facilities: The operation has been at its current location since August 2022. The large commercial building includes two offices, a simulator room, a classroom, an instructor’s lounge, and a storage area. The huge outdoor training area is about the size of three football fields.It all rents for $1,380 per month. The lease expires November 30, 2025, but the Seller and the property management company will continue to renew annually.

Competition: There are two other CDL schools in the immediate area and a total of six in the entire state. The Seller is confident the statistics prove they offer the best quality, as well as being larger, and offering better equipment to train on than either the community college or the other private school.

Growth & Expansion: Expand to Casper, where there is a hub of trucking companies and a bigger population with more educational and employee resources.
Continue to seek opportunities via state vocational and rehabilitation programs, like Climb, a training program for single mothers.

Financing: TBD if the structure and terms are acceptable.

Support & Training: To ensure a smooth transition and ongoing success, the Sellers will work with a buyer as needed for up to six months.
